www.gps.org.nz Update

Hi all, just an update on the new website. Nick and I got quite a bit done yesterday, but there is still a bit of work to go. We'll keep plugging away on it during the week.

1. www.gps.org.nz login
Just a brief note about logins. As per the previous website, the login of www.gps.org.nz is completely distinct from the forums at forums.gps.org.nz. Not the least reason for this is that they are on separate servers, one hosted in the US (forums) and one hosted in New Zealand (this one, www).

For this reason, your current login on the forums won't work here, and we are not planning on automatically bringing users across. But there is nothing stopping you signing up. I would recommend that you use exactly the same username on the forums to make like easy for us, especially for Society Members whom will get additional functionality from this site (yet to be decided what that is).

2. Template
Please excuse the template, we are currently using the default template and want to get content and functionality bedded down before we work on making it purdy.
